1680 Hillwood
Bloomfield, Michigan The design and construction 1680 Hillwood will evoke a superior level of craftsmanship and building materials. By setting and achieving high standards for design and construction, our new home will augment the existing Hillwood neighborhood housing stock and will contribute to the stability and desirability of the City of Bloomfields well established identity.
The neighborhood of Hillwood is a unique community situated in the hills of what was once horse contry, one quarter mile south of the Bloomfield Open Hunt Club. The street has a rich tradition of quality and tasteful residential design.
1680 Hillwood is located across the street from the former Edward P. Hammond Estate. Mr. Hammond was a founding member of the Bloomfield Open Hunt Club, and our site originally housed staff who worked on the Hammond Estate, and its stables housed the horses for the Hammonds. Several other homes are architecturally significant with the Hammonds and were built by their business associates and friends. Those homes still exist along Hillwood Street.
